New user of Universal Device.

99i/IR PRO installed with Insteon devices and ELK M1Gold.

When I am in the Administrative Console and I link or control Insteon devices or ELK, an error message sometimes appears "Socket Open Failed java.io.IOException: Unable to establish loopback connection"

When I am in the HTLM Interface, everything work well and no error message appear.
What's the problem ?

Windows 7 service pack 1 (32 bit)
Java standard edition (build 1.6.0_24-b07)
Insteon_UD99 v.2.8.16

Thank you

Hello SMorier,

Loopback connection means that the Admin Console is being told by the underlying filter (usually firewall) to go through another socket on the local machine.

If you have a firewall, please do make sure ISY is listed in the trusted zone/white list.

With kind regards,
Michel
